Transportation

By Car

It's six hours to Dayton from St. Louis (wonder how we know that?).  It's five to six hours from Chicago.  Indianapolis is two hours away and it's about four hours to Pittsburgh.

The Doubletree Downtown hotel is (big surprise) in downtown Dayton, just east of Interstate 75 and south of Interstate 70.

By Air

When flying into Dayton, there are really three choices: Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus.  If you fly into Dayton, the hotel has a free shuttle back and forth to the airport (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.).  From Cincinnati or Columbus, you'd have to rent a car.  It's about a 75 minute drive to either of those airports.

By Train

Don't even try itDayton is not part of the rail age.

By Bus

Believe it or not, the Greyhound station in downtown Dayton is only a few blocks from the Doubletree.  I wouldn't recommend walking it after dark, though.

By Stagecoach

I'm not familiar with the stagecoach routes to Dayton.  If someone is and lets us know, we'll add them to this page.
